The Death of Dreams

So much to think and so much to apply,
So much to cater to, tad too less of assurance,
Those quick naps, a little rest when we grab,
How come these demons play along?

The last person you saw, met and had a word or two,
Imaginations ruminate, make a story so soon,
Surprise, the thoughts scream in our minds,
Who thought that moment shall so deeply be inscribed?

The good news though is we come back to reality,
Time being sour we yet relish the practicality,
A moment of being grateful garnishes some smiles,
And all that we have becomes enough suddenly…

So friends, all these dreams are for sure temporary,
Don’t focus on them, but the good ones don’t mind,
Feed your faith, hope and beliefs every day,
Time is short, make it worth all the way…

The title of this post was inspired by reality, how the end of a dream makes us believe that our reality is better and all our expectations and moments of agony are just not worth our energy. What are your thoughts?

This made Me think- good dreams do leave us with positivity that the day will be better. I think what we dream has a lot to do with our current state of mind, our hopes, aspirations. Let’s hope for a better tomorrow

I feel dreams are rather inspiring. There is also an alternate theory that Dreams we have at night are nothing but bits and pieces of our day as a whole. It fascinates me when i see it that way, Its like our brain is cooking up a fiction by processing 1/4 of an incident each we experienced that day. Isn’t it Fascinating!

Yes Dreams gives us a mixed feeling, sometimes we wake up for more targets and sometimes we leave away few stuff behind.

    Your poetry said it all.

    Cheers
