The Lost Purpose

Each morning comes with a new ray,
Of lost hopes & darkness survived,
Broken glasses & invisible thought swords,
Am I a lost purpose in world full of ambitions?

A feeling so helpless & full of uncertainty,
Unspoken verses of reality hidden in my chest,
That desire to walk away between the greens,
Am I a lost purpose in world full of ambitions?

Plastic smiles and dreams full of lead,
That bullet straight from anger’s head,
Anxiety residing in my fingertips,
Am I a lost purpose in world full of ambitions?

Vessel on the flame, that smell of brewing tea again,
I look back to what I was, what I have become,
The nib of my pen hurts as my heart overflows,
Am I a lost purpose in world full of ambitions?

Sealed lips, buried rib cages and only resort of spirit,
In the name of survival, the name of existence,
Where have I reached, where was I headed?
Am I a lost purpose in world full of ambitions?
Maybe…

Invisible thought swords – that evokes a very graphic imagery of how our thoughts pierce us when we are low and despondent.
Lovely piece of poetry expresssing a whole lot of emotions.
