4. Confessions Will Make You Zinger

Around bags full of sand and sun going down,
A bunch of strangers who try to find their way out…

As I lay back on my cushioned chair,
That chain of thoughts not leaving my hair…

Clinking bottles, hollowness inside and smiles around,
Who would know what a smiling face contains?

A wish to run away to the waves and whisper my cry,
Request them to lead me to a favorable sky…

Of angels, peace and where friendship thrives,
Salute extended to those who believe in care derived…

From that dream I snap back to reality in a moment,
Loud music, darkness, stars and that strange silence…

I promise the place to be back here again,
When the sun will only rise and never let me fall…

Shoe laces tied, handful of star dust packed,
As I walk in to my room of sorcery and uncertainty sack…

The vacation is over screamed the loud horn of the bus,
And the ink on my skin smiled and said, “Come back very soon, you nut.”

Don’t we all feel it? I do. I get all melancholic when I am at the beach. My thoughts wander.
And that last line? Gee ๐Ÿ˜€

Oh my god- I could imagine myself on the beach and packing seashells n stones from the beach to take back home as a magical reminder of my time there. Very well written.

Its been more than 4 years I had been to a beach but I miss them. Scribbling on sand with my toes is something I love. Soothing words.
