Moon Struck

A night of despair, continued in flair,
I walked down that lane, of scenic glare,
Found someone shining, without the armor,
Amazed, a bit I started questioning its flame..
Had heard its name, Moon said they all,
When I went up there, it seemed so thin,
Walking over those twinkling stars, glittery,
It welcomed me, and tucked my eyes in its gist..
Love struck me, Mind boggled for a while,
I thought this can’t be love, for its not a stable mine,
I asked some questions, It answered me with a smile,
Filled me with some peace, agonies pacified..
I asked about the distance, I asked about the stars,
I asked about the journey, I asked about the scars,
I asked about the existence, I asked about the flaws,
I asked about the nearness, I asked about those flowers..
Faith for the distance, Togetherness for the stars,
Perseverance about the journey, Healing for the scars,
Walking enormous for the existence, Acceptance for the flaws,
Attachment about the nearness, Scent for those flowers,
Defined me it, these answers in a jiffy form of slurs..
I had more questions, but it stopped me thereby,
I said let me finish, It said yes let it first do,
In brief it whispered, that shimmered bunch of words,
A smile on my face, and back to my room, I returned..

I loved the qus-ans pattern adopted in stanza 4-5. Thats something new & it makes this post one of your best creations 🙂 the ending makes it look realistic & adds much more beauty to it. Keep up.
